Mini Seasons causing CE-108255-1 (Avoid)

I only had one game where I won but ended up with the L. Here's what I found that worked for me (on PS5). If you select the difficulty and the little load icon on the bottom right doesn't show up immediately, you need to back out. If you back out of DD entirely the game crashes and you can report the bug if you want to. Going back into the game will usually allow you to play, but if the load icon doesn't show up when you hit X you'll have to repeat the process.
You don't have to just play one game at a time. You can play multiple, but any time I selected the difficulty and the load icon didn't pop up I backed out. The one L I took was the very first game I played and I waited forever to get into the game after selecting the difficulty. I had no issues after that once I started paying attention to the icon on the bottom right.
There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason as to when the mode crashes. I was able to play 2 or 3 games in a row and then trying to play one right after that didn't work. It was frustrating backing out and having the game crash, but I got through a season and won the championship using this method. Hopefully that helps someone.

Wasn't this supposed to be Fixed last night? So SDS....did you fix it? Or is it still a total nightmare?
-
I took a loss this morning on another win so it isn’t fixed.
So if the game stalls for a moment when I try and enter, back out? Is that the “work around” to get W/L to record correctly right now while SDS remains quiet on the issue?

I think so. That's what I've been doing the whole time and haven't had a single win counted as a loss in almost 2 seasons now. My theory is if it doesn't load right away and you keep on spamming the button then the game acts like you are starting multiple games at once(the reason I think this is because when I had a crash it went back to the pitcher selection after the game)

Still terrified of starting a run and get the dreaded "unhandled" at the Championship.

Can you explain what you mean by exiting out of game to actually get wins? I have played 13 games and won all but 1, yet it shows 7-6. At this point I just want to finish and get the awards and never play it again until they fix it.
buddy i am in exactly the same boat - i should be 3-1 and i am 1-3
i got an email from Joseph at SDS yesterday overnight saying they are aware and looking into it - he is polite but it is probably just a copy paste situation
i also lost a Mike Trout card - and they so far are unable to give me it back but gave me 3 packs for my troubles - i am still going back and forth with him to see if they can somehow look into my account pulls or history - its insane to just offer me 3 packs when i want my main card back

The sad thing is that its impossible to truly know if todays update fixed that without the people that ran into that problem starting a new season. If they fixed it I imagine that it was a fix to prevent it in the future, not to fix it on the runs that already have the problem

If I get to the Championship and it was for nothing due to an unhandled error, I’m going to be p1ssed.
All I want is Longoria. Don’t even care about the other rewards.

That's still me
-
First time through it gave me a few losses when I won, second time through I didn't have any issues, instead of pressing the button to start the game I find that holding it down fixes the non responsive issue.
-
Still messed up here … I just want the Eva Longoria card.
-
So are you just going to bump every mini seasons thread there is?

Mini Seasons has times where it will not let you play, no matter what you do. (Clicking play game doesn’t respond) So I back out of it and boom my PS5 kicks me out of the show and is now stuck on the “something went wrong with game or app” screen for over 10 minutes.
Going to have to do a full storage reset to the PS5. If I lose anything I’m going to be pissed.
This mode has been absolutely nothing short of a nightmare. You can’t even get credit for your wins without exiting out of the game entirely after every win. (Not even addressed in the new patch)
I love this game but stop putting rewards behind a mode that isn’t ready for them.
I want Longoria, I’m a Rays fan. Make him purchasable. There’s no reason not to.
Xbox series X does the same thing but no system error, I can start the game again and then mini seasons will work...

I got the same thing happening a couple day's ago but not the same error code .... I deleted the game cache then re-install the game and it works A1 so if you can save the total reset I guess it's worth a try !
