Foul ball foul ball until you're forced to throw a meatball. Pitches that almost bounce to the plate are still foul tipped. The skill Gap is diminishing as we speak. Add in there the PCI anchor. Then contact swing. Why have any skill at all let's just roll the dice and see who comes out ahead for the win

And it's any battery that can do this. If a 90 contact/vision player is fouling off pitches that one thing. But Nelson Cruz fouling off sliders and changups in the dirt is very frustrating.

It only serves to decrease the skill gap. And that's coming from an average at best player.

They'll have to find a way to drastically scale down PCI size when outside the zone, inside even more so. At the least take out outer PCI completely
