Foul Ball Freeze Off?

Think I found a bug in the game unfortunately. I’ve only been in 2 freeze offs so far (in the 2nd one currently, going on 2-3 hours) and both have been where a low pitch was thrown and the batter got under it and fouled up in the air into foul territory and the defender (first was 3B side so it was the 3Bman, this time was 1B side and 1Bman) ran and caught the ball underhanded as if they were just getting there in time. Both times this has resulted in a freeze. Fortunately I don’t think this can be done on purpose. (First one I was the defender, second I was the batter).
Hopefully this can get patched up.

Yup both of mine were by the dugouts as well. I’m tempted to just let those drop from now on unless I’m directly under the ball. Both mine the defender was reaching out and catching them underhanded before the freeze.

Twice in online rated and happened on foul tips even sent a bug report

Happened to me in the final showdown against Williams. I had to score 1 run in 15 outs to win. Foul ball freeze at the 1B dugout.

Last night, first Event game of the year, popout in foul territory, 3B side.

Worst online sports game to play. Freeze off all the time!!! Winning 5-0 freeze, winning 1-0 freeze winning at all and freeze but when I’m losing never get a freeze off. Seems fishy to me, how can you release a game with this massive of a game breaking bug 3 years in a row!!?? Get your [censored] [censored] together or give up.

Nothing new. It has been posted many times and I have to believe more than a few of us (me included) have actually submitted a ticket for the issue.

It was supposedly fixed via the update this morning.
