Thought I’d capture one of the more obvious examples of PAR not pulling its weight.

MLB The Show 22 PAR pitching is still random

This is Competitive setting (stick skills reign supreme), HoF or Legend pitching (can’t remember). Franchise game.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but for maximum accuracy, you need to stop the meter at the yellow line. If it goes into the "effort" zone, your accuracy will be decreased.

Thanks for the tip. Well if that’s the case I’ll delete my clip then. Would love some consensus on whether or not that’s correct.

Just had another look at the clip, I’m thinking there’s not enough ‘effort’ there to justify such a variance from the PAR. It certainly didn’t go into the red zone anyway.

I would've said the same thing about the effort but you barely went past the yellow. The only other question I have might be a stupid one cause I haven't used meter in a while:
Is good in meter the same as perfect in pinpoint or is there a perfect on meter as well?

There is no perfect on meter, or at least no feedback that confirms it. Basically that white bit expands when pitcher confidence is over 85% or something. Normally it’s just a thin line.
