Hitting has been easier against human players, but harder against the CPU. That's what I have seen.

This seems to be a pattern.
In both ‘19 and ‘20 people started the year singing the praises of hitting and within 1-2 weeks after launch it gets botched behind an update.
Also, the the higher rated FOTF pitchers are batting practice on All-Star while a gold Smoltz I can’t control against the CPU becomes legendary in the hands of an online opponent.
I smell a rat.
I remember 19 being a lineout fest from start to when the game became free. I don’t remember anyone praising it early.

The hitting is too forgiving. They’re afraid of losing players if the game is too hard. Outer PCI needs to go to decrease the random fluke hits that have plagued this game for a couple years.

No you didn’t get it straight. I’ll iron it out for you, I’m not saying hitting is hard. I’m saying you shouldn’t be able to foul tip pitches that bounce in the dirt and all you have to do is swing early and you have a hit. You can’t pitch fast balls because everyone just swings early and send it’s to the moon. So did you get it straight now moron?

This game is on another level of pathetic. I know people bash EA and rightfully so but Ultimate Team has taken multiple strides forward as of late and SDS basically just gave us the middle finger with this game.
Hitting is garbage. Opponents resorting to bunting in the event lol
