Showdown hitting has not changed an ounce. Good/okay fly outs are still king.
Not for me... it’s 1000 times better than yesterday.... timing my swing way better.... even groundouts feel better.
I don't know why it would be better for you and not me. I have done the AL West showdown numerous times already to get Correa, Olson and Ohtani from affinities. Never really had an issue. This morning, I've lost the showdown 3 times already having not made it past the second boss. I don't think it's gotten worse, just facing your usual bad luck. But I haven't noticed it being better.
Right on, weird for sure but I couldn’t time a swing for nothing yesterday....today I’m making great contact... hitting into bad luck at times, but that’s baseball.. lol

I mean I didn't expect a perfect/perfect or a any type of hit out of this, but that should always be solid contact (good/good) based on the simple fact that the baseball is within the contact buckshot completely. As always everybody’s opinion on the game is based on if they win their most recent games or not, I’m sure there hasn’t been change to the game but glad you think it’s playing well.
There’s no way they changed anything. Im not at the Ps4 at the moment but I'm assuming its a pretty small download. Its not physically possible to tweak gameplay in a patch that small

Fix to what? Fielding issues? Yes that is something that needs a fix, hitting though? Hitting is fine, yesterday in my 4 games to World Series I put up 9 runs, 3 runs in 2 innings, 9 runs and 13 runs, I would say that we are being rewarded at the plate, I’m slugging almost .900 right now

Where do you find this? Just went to game history and looked at a box score and did not find it. Where should I be looking?
It's under the game details, keep scrolling down. Possibly you guys didn't have one in the game?
I found it. It's at the bottom of the summary, while I was looking in the box score. Thanks for the info, this is extremely helpful!!
You can see perfect results in the batter analysis in game as well. Just change result to show timing and you'll see a P.

Friendly, but it doesn't matter since everything in DD is the same except for moments and showdown, which has no legend.

Hitting might not be perfect, but there are way more broken aspects of the game that need work. Fielding, pitching, baserunning, and pitcher stamina are way more broken than hitting currently is. Maybe the devs could work on those if everyone stopped blaming hitting.
