I have heard that but for a different player not sure who it was but maybe Mantle because I am not using Ruth yet/

I turned off the commentary after one game.
Vasgurgen had some hilarious home run calls, and Plesac was campy and funny.
The commentary just seemed a little last Gen to me. -
Aside from the usual quirks, I notice the PBP guy just seems to get super excited over any hit, even on a bloop single with no men on and 2 outs. Kinda funny.

Whenever I bring Gossage into a game, "Here comes the Goose, bottom of the 9th!", even though it's usually the 2nd or 3rd inning of a Conquest or Mini Seasons game.

2nd inning of conquest, 0-0. and the commentary stated that Rivera had a chance to earn the save when I brought him in for relief.

I turn the commentary and music off it's too annoying. But during the showdown I crushed a perfect/perfect right down the middle and the PA guy yells "It's a laser!!", And it just went right to the center fielder he didn't even have to move.
