Always enjoyed commentary. Might have to turn these guys off.

Too early to tell for me. We 100% needed a revamp to commentary. Didn’t necessarily mean new commentators altogether, but something had to change.

I miss them too. This commentary is pathetic and atrocious. The fact people complained and wanted new people didn’t think about getting worse people. Matty V and Dan were entertaining at least. These dudes are just yes men. Boring snooze fest

Definitely prefer the old trio, but the biggest problem is the lack of variety. I installed the game about 72 hours ago and I’m already sick of hearing the same lines over and over. It’s really bad in RttS, too. Didn’t they say in the YouTube video that they recorded something like 15,000 lines? I think they need another 15,000…
EDIT: I also like that you point out that you mis Matty V and Plesac, but I guess that means you are ok with losing DeRo. I totally understand that feeling.

I always get that stupid line when Mantle comes to the plate. The dude debuted 70 years ago, but the lack of batting gloves is what makes it a throwback

Boogs sounds like Quagmire and Singleton is amazingly boring - The same 10 lines over and over, the fans behind home plate is the worst

I don't miss the old commentary, we definitely needed a change. That being said the new commentary is definitely repetitive and boring. I also absolutely hate that they put "this one's got a chance" on warning track flyouts back on purpose
