I think the way the game usually plays is always super solid, it really is a very good representation of the sport in my opinion, as far as the content I think there is a slight move away from NMS being so easy, I personally can understand that move as long as they stop at a fair balance, NMS Teams could be pretty darn good pretty easily in the past, if they keep shifting that way year by year I might not be as happy in 3 or omre years

You don’t need to play the game to see that the content is just objectively worse than before.
Yes the content is worse day 1 than it was last year.
Not as many great diamonds on day 1 will help make the game interesting for a longer period of time.

There also is no Daily Moment reward path and I don't think there are monthly programs, Topps moments...All of that see.s to have been replaced by FotF..
I like having a ton of content. This seems like very little.

Topps Now moments could be a part of the reveal on Opening Day.
Too early to determine if Monthly Awards will be a thing or not.
I agree with you there's a lot less to do but that most likely will change over time.

Changes are great...subtractions not so much. I really hope I'm wrong and that this turns out to be a killer game. Look at my post history and I'm almost always stoked about the content. But there just isn't much going on here.

I like having a ton of content. This seems like very little.
The program is 37 days long those cards will be super cheap buy week 3 so buying the other 18 won't be the hard as there should be solid inventory. I could be wrong on that but we'll see.
Also interested to see the collection reward cause it could make things worth it as well

Basically, they combined the inning and TA programs. I don't have a problem with that. But some programs might only be two weeks long? Have to wait to see how this plays out. Either way, I'm not a fan of not just being able to earn all the cards... and one of the two routes is one random. That was the nice part of TA that you would get them all eventually.

Innings and TA were basically combined. The 19-21 inning program format was getting a bit stale so a change might not be awful. As for the FOTF cards/ lack of team affinity I'm gonna wait a while before overreacting and calling them EA like everyone else is. On the surface it does look bad though, I won't deny that

This happens every year in the prior game everyone hitches their wagon to something they love and it's either removed or changed the next year and it ends up working out.
Was TA fun last year? Yes it was but if you played all year TA 1 was an after though in 3 weeks this will be the same as well only difference is those coming late won't have a chance at it well there is something to be said to reward those who play all year

Just relax my man. There isn’t a new conquest because there is never a new conquest at the start. There isn’t a monthly award program… because nobody has won player of the month yet, because the season hasn’t started, which is why there a no topps now cards…
They are effectively doing what they claimed they were last year and combining everything into one program which will change up all the time. They literally said it will never be the same. The third one is a mystery one we need to discover ourselves, we’ve had missions like this before, it’s fun. Last year was great, but you have no idea how much great stuff was left out of last year.
The SDS guys are good at content, I’m not some loyalist that won’t play something else, I play everything, the content team guys hardly miss. They’ll have even better stuff than last year, you’ll just be able to do it however you want and it will seem like “less to do” but it’s really less restraints on how you do it.

The thing is that there was no reason to combine TA and inning programs into one, resulting in much less content. They could’ve done something new with featured programs while not removing one of the best aspects of DD in team affinity. It’s a decision made purely from greed and nothing else. It doesn’t benefit us as players in any way whatsoever, it only benefits SDS by forcing average players to buy overpriced stubs to get what was available for free before.
