The problem with this is that most of us that actually grinded to 100 wins had absolutely no clue the event wins and rewards carried over. Apparently it said so in the event info screen, but considering I have pretty much exclusively played Events for 3 years now, a lot of us only need to see the rewards and lineup requirements

We’re in the middle of a pandemic. There’s no true way to tell what their capabilities are right now as far as pushing out content goes

Look, we all understand that completely. But events, RS, BR, headliners, and inning bosses were all pre determined rewards and content months ago. The Pandemic literally only affects live series/Topps now/POTM/finest. It has been a reason content has been slow, but we are talking about events specifically. They could have easily had win locks like previous years so you couldn't get Brooks Robinson until the second event and the last 3 rewards until the third. That would be fine. Events is my favorite mode. Im not looking forward to looking at the same unlocked rewards until Mid-may

It sucks, but I'm sure they weren't expecting people to blow through 100 wins in a week and a half when they laid out the content timeline.

the wins should have at least reset if you reached 100 to be able to get the rewards even if its just the xp, stubs, and packs and not awarding robinson a second time but looks like BR and showdown, MTO to do the affinity programs instead

Thats what I’ve said from the start. With the high amount of wins needed compared to other years, it felt like a stacked event

"?there's been multiple events in the past that had multiple parts, each offerer different rewards or vouchers each "new" event

"?No, simply because every event in the past that was multiple parts only gave you at most 1 or 2 vouchers and you had to wait for the next event to get all the rewards. And I figured that since they made hitting and pitching harder, and showdown is hard, that it would be hard to get cumulative event rewards as well this year. Guess not. I might use the next event for HOF practice but I'm guessing events wont have too much traffic until new rewards come out for it, which assuming theres a show goes on 3, will be absolutely forever

Every time I try br I go 6-0 and play a twitch streamer who hits every strike over the fence

Yeah, I was aware the event will go on all year. Don’t want the rewards anyway, maybe if they release a 6 or 9 inning event I’ll try it out, but 3 inning games are trash. There’s no real strategy, it’s just a hitting game.

This... But in their defense, they also didn’t expect a lot of their player base to be stuck at home and grinding those 100 wins within the first 2-3 weeks of the game’s life cycle.

Read a book. Learn something new in life. Lots of time now to do that.
