I want to know where my DH is at. They haven’t said anything about what this game is going to do with the new CBA.
There is very high chance that the DH will not be added to this year's game. In 20 when the leauge agreed to certain rule changes SDS noted that they did not have the time to implement the changes into the game and with the new CBA being agreed to so close to release of the game I would think this is the same case here
That was MLB 20 though—with a shortened 60-game season. The game already launched that April like it always does, so I guess they were too busy with making content now that the season was underway to actually patch the DH in.
I mean the same can be said about right now they were less then 30 days away from game launch when change were agreed upon and announced also let's not forget then the MLB and the PA change up rules after the fact again. So again it's not as simple as it seems lots of thing go on under the hood and if the change something it could break others. DH in DD would be something completely new which would required some time to test and debug but you are right I'm sure 30 days out from release it can be adjusted for 5 different consoles and no possibilities for issue or delay of launch

There is already a DH in Custom Leagues so why couldn't they put it in now?
Because SDS releases cards based on a plan for the game economy. A DH drastically reduces the need to have situational cards for the bench and relievers in the pen.
Now before you go ahead and complain about how the game needs to reflect real MLB, consider that DD in so many ways can’t. You have your entire inventory at your disposal…you can have a new/fresh 25 man roster for every game…MLB teams can’t. Injuries are/were exceptionally rare and do not last multiple games.
Long story short: DD should not include a DH. I don’t want it for this year or any year going forward. To do so, SDS would have to first nerf us as players to a point where collecting a binder of awesome cards would be irrelevant…and that would not be fun.

Is it true i saw a video on YouTube that these are 30 days and done? So unlike previous years you either get them or you don’t no go back later? Part of me would be ok with this as my son started playing the show later in the season like Mid September and pretty much had most cards non BR and RS by the end of the WS. I just feel there should be a better payoff for those that put the effort in since day 1

As a Cardinals fan I like Tommy Edman quite a bit but choosing him as the Face of The Franchise Card? He might have been like my 7th or 8th pick?
Is it because Arenado, Goldschmidt, O'Neill, Bader and Gallegos all finished as diamonds last year? What about Wainwright or Molina (realizing that the Pujols signing was too late)

Yup, Williams, Clase and Chapman are gonna make the opening weeks a hitting issue in the later innings.

I'll say this before anyone goes on a tangent about his H/9 being 114. I am one of the biggest haters of no-hitter cards and juiced H/9 for starting pitchers. Relievers having those H/9 numbers has never been a problem

I'm right there with you. I liked the No Hitter cards, but like you....I think they devalued many other cards that should have been elite like Pedro and Bob Gibson. With the bullpen, it's a much different ballgame.

Williams is going to be BP if those pitch velocities aren’t a mistake. Either sit 4SFB at 96, or any of the other three pitches at 83.
