Digital Deluxe with Game Pass

Microsoft was able to do it with Forza Horizon 5. SDS, MLB, and Microsoft should figure out how to offer an upgrade path to the Digital Deluxe for those of us with Game Pass. I would have no problem shelling out $40 for an upgrade but I will not pay $100 and just wait until April 5th to play. Not sure how many others out there like me but could be extra money that SDS/Microsoft won't see.

I’m not even sure how they would do it. Don’t you only have access to game pass games as long they’re on game pass? I have a few downloaded but never really checked if I still had them if they were removed.

Like I said above Microsoft did it with FH5. And part of the profitability of GamePass is selling the DLC and extra content and then selling the game to people if it does leave GamePass.

If you're eager to play the game early access then just buy the MVP/Digital Deluxe version and get on with it. Or if you want the extras just buy 40$ worth of stubs on April 5th and you'll get the same or better value.

That early access pack is definitely not worth $50. It should have been an upgrade to the digital deluxe for that price.

I may have been willing to pay $20 for that early access bundle, but $50 is a terrible deal in my opinion. They're not even including a diamond choice pack or cover athlete pack.
I'll wait the 4 days on Xbox to play for no additional cost, and I'll pick up a Switch version to pair up with it.

Its an upgrade to MVP version for digital deluxe price. Seems strange to me
The MVP version comes with a diamond choice pack and bat skin that this doesn’t have, so it’s even less than the MVP version.

I did not see this post before I made mine, the price for the early access should be $20 or $30 based on the rewards offered, base game value around $50 (from gamepass) + $50 extra for the early access package should get = $100 digital deluxe rewards (which is the option I would prefer over the package costing less)
