Digital or Hard Copy??

I went digital, but I'm also on Ps5. Trade ins have no value anymore and there's no delay in playing, digital all day.
Only real downside is if you lose internet you lose your games.

I'm the same, my PS4 is old but I have gone with the digital version for the last 3 years. If I need to I can delete Madden or something. Also went digital for my Switch Lite, going to be awesome to have The Show on the go again!

I haven't bought a physical game since MLB 16. No regrets from me whatsoever

I recommend looking into an external hard drive. I got a 2 TB Seagate one for $40 or $50 a few years ago.

Games take up the same space regardless of digital or hard copy. They both have to be copied to the systems storage. So it will be about the same. Games havent ran off of a disk for many years now. I had MLB TS 16 on disk, took up the same space as MLB TS 17 did digitally. Also my Red Dead 2 disk takes up the same space as digital.

I have the original PS4 and I have gone digital since 18. I am hard wire so I do not have to worry about my wifi connection. If you are worried about space go can get an external hard drive. I have 1 or 2 TB, When I did it you could not use an external so I replace the hard drive on the system.
Sony sells external hard drives. I got those for two of my kids.

Digital every time.
One less thing to go wrong (scratches, dust particles, defective bypass line, ionic transfer relay disruption, blimp accident) -
Digital is the only way to go. More convenient, no hassles with discs.

...and you cannot get refunds after a certain point. 14 days, and 2 hours played or less I think is the limit. Dying Light 2 was a massive letdown, but I can't get a refund for the digital copy.

To support the SDS small business…..most of the proceeds go to the art department.

Been digital for years, only because the laser disc reader has a shelf life, mine went out on my PS3 and rendered it useless unless you do everything digital, been digi since

Ps3 died twice on me because of this.

Digital.
Been digital for years. Not only do I get the game at midnight, I can preload it and I don't have to go to the store at a weird hour (or at all!)
Plus, I'm lazy and I play more than one game a night so I don't have to get out of my seat to switch discs....
