A record that will stand for as long as time

Before I get to my post, a little backstory about me. The year was 2019, and the version of the Show was 2019. There I was, a young grip-and-rip hitter with the mind of a baseball-obsessed Albert Einstein. My ranking was 898, and despite playing on a 2007 50 inch panasonic TV without game mode, I knew I was gonna make world series. I used retro cam and entirely guess hit - I literally never even watched the ball. That's how you do it on a 50 incher, baby.
So in that WS play-in game, I matched up with some dude using Nolan Ryan. I proceeded to strike out 28 times in a 9 inning game, never even fouling a ball off.
I quit the game for years after that. 21 was the first time I picked it back up, and today, I was a stone's throw from World Series. Guess who I matched up against once again? Nolan Ryan.
So this time I just quit. Next game? Nolan Ryan. Quit.
Next game? Nolan Ryan. Quit.
Next game? Nolan Ryan. Quit.
I'm up to 8 consecutive games against Nolan Ryan. That's a record, boys, and it ain't over yet! Let's goooooo!

Heyyyyy! Where you been my dude? 28 Ks in 9 innings, did you get on with a passed ball 3rd strike. I hate facing Nolanater. I feel your pain.

I barely see Nolan Ryan, (though he is a little more common and the end of the year now that he is cheap), so that is some bad luck
-
My last three ranked games have been against Verlander and Degrom and that was enough suffering… God protect me, if I see Nolan I’ll quit before a pitch is thrown.
-
I used to mash Nolan Ryan. This year, I’m with you. I’m guaranteed to strikeout at least 15 times. Outlier destroyed the game. Lol
-
Yes, 2019 to 2021 definitely felt like more than 1 year and i sure as hell felt 5 to 10 years older after it.( not sarcasm)
-
I played a game against a guy using Nolan Ryan today and I got lucky because he was so predictable it was crazy. Fastball/Sinker then change up/curve. Every... single.... time. If I was ahead of the fastball he then threw the sinker instead of the fastball after the change up. Never threw the 12/6 in the strike zone but the change up was usually in there. Got him to quit in thee 4th.

Booooooo Trevor Bauer. Boooooooooo

Nolan Ryan's fastball coding has a typo. They made it 120mph instead of 102mph.

Agreed. Told our guys on Discord that I thought Ryan’s outlier was faster than anyone’s else’s. Absolute Gas
