April 7 will be opening day. I will assume there will be a huge rush in free agency in the next 3 days.
It still has to be ratified. I don't expect any type of actual movement until next week.
Its been ratified and Free Agency opened at 7pm ET today.

I believe our esteemed Mets fan said it best. Bryant will go where the money is. I'm not sure there's a west coast team even in on him. The Padres, Giants and Dodgers are out. Oakland isn't gonna spend any money. The Angels need pitching and have Rendon at 3rd. That leaves the Mariners.

I don't understand the obsession over Bryant to begin with. I think he's hella overrated, especially for the bag of money teams will have to pay him for his services. Watched him a lot last year, seemed lost the majority of the time. Average glove too. He's nowhere near the player he was years ago in my humble opinion.

Sadly he has gone downhill since winning the MVP. Just read an article that said Harper was pushing the Phillies to sign him. Its only because they both come from Las Vegas.

I totally agree. I think that's why The Giants are out on him, otherwise they'd be the obvious choice. But they seemed less than enamored with him as a whole. Part of what these teams are paying for as always is the past accomplishments (See Albert Pujols, Miggy Cabrera etc ). I'm not saying he was ever close to that league but an MVP and world championship with the Cubs has cache.
I think he'll wind up being over paid by a team like the Mets or Phillies and continue to under perform.
