Fun event idea to close out the game

I know this would probably never happen, but it would be fun to close out the game cycle with an event with a choice pack at the end with a player to carry over to 22. Nothing crazy just an 85-90 diamond legend that you could carry over to 22. I know it would put people who didnt play 21 at a disadvantage but one extra diamond isnt going to dominate in the first month of 22. It would probably get a lot of people back to the game for the last month and generate even more excitement for 22. Call it the prelaunch event. Not sure that there is huge financial upside for SDS but maybe people who left the game a few months ago and were on the fence would come back for this and then maybe order 22.

I like free diamonds and 1 carryover would be cool. Especially if they make it something like a 1B, not a pitcher. People will develop decent teams fast enough in 22.

A. It’d have to be non-sellable.
B. You couldn’t reveal the contents of the pack (since I’m sure some of the players in that pack haven’t been revealed.)

Definitely would be non sellable. I wouldnt even put new cards in there. Im saying like an 87 Don Mattingly or a 90 Rookie Lou Gehrig. A card that if it drops in the second month of the game most people wouldnt touch but for the first few weeks it will get some play. I don't spend any extra money on the game for packs etc so my first rank season run is usually a lot of golds & silvers with good swings. Id love another decent diamond outside of the preorder packs to build around.

Yep but im thinking it would just be something fun to do for the next few weeks. Right now the event is actually kind of fun but I really wont use either of the cards. If there was a choice pack at the end with a mid range diamond to carry over, I would spend the month playing for it. Even if it were 100 wins.
