So in regards to different fielding animations with lower overall fielding players or lower overall arm accuracy players I’m wondering if they got rid of those Derek jeter jump throws from 3rd that players who had no business doing were doing . Previous years it didn’t matter who was fielding, every player could pull off those very difficult jump throws from 3rd and get it perfectly to 1st no matter their fielding ability or arm strength/accuracy. I really hope that’s fixed.

The game that Sony is putting out this year is supposed to represent the MLB product in 2022. It needs to at least have the option for the DH. They can’t just ignore that addition until next years game.

Great stream. Thanks Chris and Kyle. Some really good changes made to the user interface, especially dynamic PCI, PAR accuracy variations and perfect throws to all bases.

Honestly, they're changing/upgrading the game VERY little.
It is true, however, that they put a lot of effort into DD to make it an approachable and content-rich experience. That's where the vast majority of development resources go, I'd assume.
I hate that that's the case, but it is.

But I am enough of a realist to know that even if they had reinvented the hitting engine from scratch that some people would be here complaining about it.

Did anybody else notice the obscene typo in the dynamic PAR breakdown they showed? The list of which pitches are and are not affected by dynamic PAR
Somebody’s muscle memory took over, methinks.

not much change at all in the dynamic diamond mode i like how they did the starting line up with the base ball cards. should do that for all parts of the game.

I don’t know where people get off saying this. It’s a game, not real life. As of now, the DH is in the AL and interleague and SDS doesn’t have that in the game. If they put it in, great, if they don’t, great. Who cares? I think it’s a thrill when my pitcher gets a good hit.
I’d rather have a bench with 8-9 players like the Live teams do, now that would make the game more fun. Being able to use more of your cards on the same team.
