I’m telling you guys....go directional and wait for the game to hang your opponents pitches for you to crush.

You’ll draw a ton of walks too, the pitching is trash this year....may as well exploit it.

    That’s terrible advice.

    Ok.

I’m not trying to hurt your feelings but it’s honestly bad advice. That’s the route of below average players who never want to rise above mediocrity.

If someone wants to get good at this game they need to learn how to hit with the PCI and stop whining about everything that doesn’t seem to go their way at the time. Learn from every pitch in every AB instead of moaning about what happened 3 innings ago

Lol, no point of getting good at the game when good hits are Good/Okay nerfed hits and Late/Weak are the ones that bring in the runs.

No point in getting perfect release when pitching because it’s either a walk or a hanger over the middle.

No point in getting diamond level fielders cause the game will still force errors on them.

Below average players are who this game caters to, may as well use it to your advantage.

I strongly disagree. Just look at the top of the leaderboards. There’s most definitely a skill gap

This is sound advice if the game mechanics were working properly, but they aren’t. So you just come across as smug and that doesn’t help anyone.

If hitting is so broken as you claim then why are all the good players hitting above .375?

Oh also, to the topic, as has been said, the PCI size doesn’t seem to matter as much right now, because even when the ball is fully inside the PCI, the result is still going to vary.

If you have the ability to square up any pitch and give the RNG more chances to go in your favor, then yeah, you’ll be successful. But don’t pretend those top players don’t have to play through the bs I stated above.

I like being able to actually strike people out so I would hate for it to get bigger. WAY too many foul tips if you increase it.

Agreed but unfortunately we have a divided user base. Some are W at all costs, some are (like you, and I) in it for the challenge and experience of playing.

If only there were a way for the developers to keep the two groups separate!

But if people don't complain about things because they think they're entitled to something...there wouldn't be any action on these forums.

The pci size is definitely fine. I think it’s perfect now. We just don’t have a ton of super cards in circulation right now.

Why would I give a F about all the top players and what they hit? I didn’t buy the game thinking this is my year to make WS. I know I won’t but I have played online each year since 2016 and have always been 25-50 games above .500 at the end. I want to have fun with a baseball game and this one is not. Why should you judge anyone on hitting and that they should #GitGud by practicing that is just a BS statement. Was the game just made for you because you are good or better than most? So far this game was a major waste of money. There is absolutely no fun playing this game for a majority of people right now.

Ive actually been using just the center Pci diamonds and no brackets on the pci at all. Mel Gibson once said, “aim small, miss small” and its been working pretty good for me.

He misquoted that. it's a military quote for rifle training,. aim big, miss small. aim small miss big. teaching recruits to aim at the chest and not the head.

Bc they should be. probably should be higher. If the average player is likely batting 200 that’s unacceptable. This ain’t real baseball, the top players should be as high as their skill says 450 even. ( but they play each other so it works down) the game should reward user input more often and whatever happens happens. Right now the RNG hurts the average player more than the good ones. Good ones hit wel enough that their averages will work out. Average ones get punished by RNG because they have less likely good swings, therefore with the garbage feedback results it ends ups hurting them more with all the perfect line outs and good squared line outs. If you get perfect perfect it should be a hit at least 6/10 times. I’m not seeing that. It’s more like 2/10 times. In fact my last several games I’ve gotten zero hits on good contact, 6 to the track and 3 right at the fielder. Obviously you will do that sometimes but it shouldn’t be the standard

Perfect/perfect results in a hit 80% of the time. Try to get more of those and you’ll score more runs. That’s what I did and I’ve been rewarded quite well

Ok, buddy. Just keep crying. I’m going to continue to enjoy my time playing this game as I’ve done for 15 years...but I know nothing about it. You’re ignorant and you cry. All. The. Time.

Perfect perfect is no longer 8-10 for hits. My experience it’s more like 2/10 and it’s become the new perfect squared line out
