Why wouldn't you though? If you had a choice of having a 99 pitcher on the hill, or a 75 and under which would you choose?

I thought Ohtani when made a pitcher wasn't very good. Or do his stats just not accumulate? I know there was some issue with the card. We're talking Finest Ohtani?

Finest Ohtani is a more than adequate pitcher. At the very least he'll have the same stats as the live series pitcher, but I've heard people have somehow sussed out that he's actually got the same pitching stats as ASG Ohtani. I haven't looked into it or know if there is a way to easily check.

Ohtani ruins the spirit of the event. And I say that as someone who uses him off my bench for the event.

I get that. As a software guy, I'll say it's an "undocumented feature".
I've been bringing him in after I pinch hit with him, and it's all-or-nothing. I'm either lights-out with him, or I get lit up. No in-between.
Also, since I can't read, I kept thinking "Why the hell did I pick Shippet again?" every time I'm the home team

Yep every win that was a dashboard has registered as a loss for me too

Yep every win that was a dashboard has registered as a loss for me too
Same but you get credit for wins with rewards. Think my standings are at least 7 wins light but got Judge and Vlad earlier today.

Well you can’t compare the pitching stats because they don’t show like they normally do on a pitchers card where you can toggle stats. But his pitches are effective for the event. Just have to keep his confidence up. He does take big confidence hits when he gives up hits.

Yeah I've noticed that his confidence drains quickly. I assume that's because he's going in cold with no way to warm him up.
