Interleague Schedules
-
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping this makes its way to the San Diego Studios employee discussion board.
I'm a long-time franchise player. You guys have done a great job keeping this game mode consistent and fun for all. I'm a franchise dork. Literally been playing daily for almost six years.
One thing that I wait for every year and, I'm hoping you guys can mix into the game’s algorithms in 22', is MLB's interleague schedule rotation.
For those who are unfamiliar, MLB has an alternating divisional interleague schedule. For example, the Cubs are in the NL central. In 2021, the NL Central played the AL Central. In 2022, the NL Central plays the AL East. And, as any basic rotation of three would indicate, in 2023 the NL Central will play the AL West. and 2024, back to the AL Central.
Can we please figure this rotation into Franchise Mode? I understand The Show Franchise Mode future schedules are randomized. But, if I play three seasons, I should absolutely be able to play every team. What fun is the interleague feature if I'm playing the same (5) opposite league teams every year?
Right now, and in all The Show releases in the past, whatever interleague matchups were on the schedule for the game's released year, those matchups are thrown into repeat for every year after. Can we figure a schedule algorithm into franchise more that mirrors the leagues interleague schedule on a realistic rotation?
Please let me know what you guys think. Looking forward to the 22' release. Have a wonderful day!
Regards,
Justin Wahrman

"San Diego Studios employee discussion board"
I don't think they are any discussions. I think every answer is "Nope, Diamond Dynasty."
