Do not buy any HL packs.

This. I felt like I went 0-for-the season on HL packs in 21. I didn't, but it was close.

P.S. if Tim Anderson doesn't go Diamond this year, I will auction off my PS5 to the forum.

Is it too early to bid?

    The floor is $5

I'll be the guy who immediately jumps it.

    $350.

351, no wait. Thats like a MLB TS community market move, lets go 375.

    $376

Just FYI I wont go over 500. Cuz I already have one and can get one at MSRP pretty much whenever.

    I too have one lol

    PS5 best PS.

    Eh I still say Ps2.

Probably unpopular opinion but I haven't been NMS in the past years. Mainly because work and kids I would rather get the players I want and enjoy the little time I have.

But my plan is to see how much Trout is going for in the first few days and get him. Then build my team around him and see what I can get for upgrades from playing.

No shame in that! As thousands of people follow me on these forums, it is well known that I am very rich and own many nice things.

That said, I'm still NMS. I will waste countless hours while sitting in airports flipping my way to Trout.

Check all of the Team Collection Rewards and plan accordingly. Last year finished Marlins day one for Dee Strange-Gordon. Still hitting over .340 with him.

Probably my favorite card of the year.

Oh that's a good idea. Did you just buy all the live series cards for the Marlins on day 1? I didn't learn how to flip cards, use buy and sell orders or really anything about the market so it took me a while to complete any of the LS collection. It would be good to plan this out early on.

Teams that don’t have diamonds are easy to complete right away. You don’t have to race at it, but they are the cheapest teams to finish. They also offer some of the lower rates rewards. That being said though, if the reward is a player with a good swing, or someone you’ve done well with, it can be well worth it. I was able to complete it by maybe day 5 (servers were brutal and kept kicking everyone off the first month or so) this was done through the 20 packs from preorder and the 25k stubs that also came with it.

21 was the first time I played DD from the launch. I jumped into DD midway through 20 because I had so much extra time in my work from home scenario. My plan last year was to try and play 162 Ranked games as I wasn't that familiar with the other game modes. After every early season game became going against Edward Cabrera or Jaco deGrom I only played about 45 games. I then discovered BR and absolutely fell in love with the mode. I've yet to go 12-0 (topped out at 7 and 8 wins respectively) but I have completed the reward path multiple times. I enjoy the offline content as its easier to grind and still rewarding. Just like the original poster I'll have less time to play 22 (finally returning to the office April 4th) and will be focusing my attention mostly on offline and BR.

I plan to complete the Dodgers collection day one as they are my team and will be one of the teams with the most diamonds. Then ill work what ever other diamonds I need if possible then start grinding myself (my ballplayer) through vs CPU and RTTS. Then I'm gonna teach my buddy how to play Via Co-Op ). After that I'll just wing it

As soon as it comes out I'm loading up on the Event, BR and Ranked rewards. It will be interesting to see what we get if there is no season (I still say it starts in May)

Hahahaha, I looked it up online and was wondering what Nueroleptic Malignant Sydrome had to do with DD. Thanks for clarifying hahaha.

In that case, I will always be NMS but my first year I was ALMS (a Little Money spent) followed by shame and regret

There are more than a few people here that probably use antipsychotic drugs or at least SHOULD be using them and the reaction to them can be life-threatening in some people. It's rarely but it does happen.

That's the extent of my knowledge. Psych bored the [censored] out of me.

what do you guys think will be some good ways to start making stubs on day 1 other than spending money?

Literally anything can be flipped day 1. Profit per card might be small (100 stubs) but volume will be off the charts.

Flipping cards and most of the free cards you get from packs sell them, you can get them back later for cheaper.

    Won’t pre-order, won’t buy until the game
is at least 2-3 months old and all the gameplay issues arise.

My goal for 22 is to make World Series every season in Ranked. I only made it once in 21. Lord have mercy on my soul.
