One of my best friends in high school was Greg The Hammer Valentine’s daughter. I spent so much time at the house shows, and more so at his house where all the other WWF stars would come hang at his pool ( Savage, Hulk, Beefcake, you name it).

That’s so awesome. I think any wrestling fan would be super jealous.
I’ve met Mick Foley a bunch of times. He’s always around the area I grew up. He just did a comedy/story telling performance in Rochester, NY a few months back. And he’s always doing promo’s and things in the Rochester area.

So many!! One of my favorites was when we were about 14 and backstage before a show where Demolition was facing The Rockers ( Michales and Janetty). We walked into the a room and the 4 of them are eating dinner and chatting. They see us come in, haven’t met Hammer’s daughter before, so thinking we may be regular fans who don’t know it’s fake ( again, this was 30 years ago), Jump up and start screaming at each other( back in character “ “You better get out of here, we are going to kill you in the ring”
It was hilarious.

This is amazing. I'm sure you've heard about the story where Hacksaw and Iron Shiek got caught doing blow in the car together and got fired because they were supposed to be enemies....no concern about the blow and I think they came back like a month later.
Shawn Michaels was my favorite wrestler, and even though I'd stopped watching years before, I got to see his retirement match against The Undertaker at wrestlemania in Phoenix. Not nearly as cool as meeting them in person hahahaha.
