All my games end 1-2, 2-0 etc mostly winning or losing on bloop hits or weird animations. I might be retiring from ranked at this point. It's almost like pitching is too good this year. Just curious if anyones had this experience or if it's just me
I’m struggling big time this year lol I think it’s because I’m so used to being able to tap the button to check swing and lay off pitches and this year they just swing.

That’s a big adjustment for a lot of people; it was so OP it became a crutch for many. I know I’m getting more Ks while pitching this year by a fair margin.

Contact to me is essentially X from last year just tried it 2 games in a row.
I don't know man I switched back to X 2 hrs it must be a lag issue with me. When it's laggy i'm going to use O because I get garbage exit velo when it's like that but when no lag X is fine.

Yeah I figured, but I do know some people buy a really nice 120hz monitor and don’t realize in 60hz it’s actually incredibly slow. You’re smarter than that but it was worth a mention.
Could you elaborate? I know about input lag and frame rate and refresh rate……..I thought playing on 120 Hz Xbox Series X with a 120 HZ monitor would cut the input lag in half from what I’ve read?

Actually yes that’s pretty much exactly what I was saying. The OP has a pretty good understanding of them but I thought I’d mention it.
If you go to Rtings.com you can see specs for countless monitors. And some (although not a lot) can perform pretty terribly in 60hz if the native refresh rate is 120hz or something else. One day the game should be 120FPS and that won’t matter but for now it can mean a lot.
Basically on that site you can put in your monitor, see it’s natural refresh rate, and then what it performs at in 60hz or 120hz.

If you look @ this monitor, it performs at 280hz which is amazing. It’s input lag @280hz is <2ms which is GOD TIER…..It’s input lag @60hz is 30ms….15 times slower.
