MLB22 PS4 Standard Edition + $10 Upgrade to PS5 - do you keep both?
-
I own both a PS4 and a PS5. I take the PS4 when I travel, so I want to be able to play MLB22 The Show on both on a given day.
As such - if I pre-order the $59.99 PS4 Standard Edition, and then pay the $10 PS5 Upgrade fee:
- Do I get to KEEP access to both?
- Or - does the PS4 version stop working once I upgrade to the PS5?
II would like to spend $69.99 rather than having to pay $84.99 for the Digital MVP version, which does list " Dual Entitlement on PS4 and PS5" as a feature.
Replies from SDS appreciated.

You keep access to both, but you'd need the Ps4 disc to play the ps5 version.

So you're saying the ps4 standard edition is not a digital download?

If you bought the standard game on digital, then you're good and will have the digital copies for both generations. But if you bought the standard game physical, the Ps5 version would be digital and require the Ps4 disc to play it. Either way you'd have access to both generations.
