    3B - MVP Donaldson
    SS - MS Ripken Jr.
    LF - MVP Bryant
    CF - MVP Mantle
    RF - Finest Trout

    Bench:

    PS Corbin
    Sig Wagner
    Prime Robertson
    Finest Treinen
    Prime Davis
    2021 AS Kimbrel
    Prime Britton
    MS Gagne

Is this on purpose? You’re the only one with an “end game” team that is…well…segregated.

Out of all the great cards in this game, your endgame squad has no Black players or no Latino players? Is this your “pre-Jackie Robinson” theme team or something? Lol

MVP Bryant in left? No Aroldis Chapman in the pen?

This team is sus as can be…

    ???

It’s just my team of personal favorite players, like I said at the beginning of the post. Not sure why you felt the need to bring race into it.

Yeah. You said it alright. Loud and clear.

Clearly you do have some kind of problem, because all I did was list my team of players I like. I’m not sure why you’re so upset about it. I guess I could make it better competitively if that’s the issue? Like I could have Seager or Crawford at 3B, Wagner at SS, Gehrig or Ruth at 1B, Ryan, Kluber, and Verlander in the rotation, Gossage, Loup, and Miller in the bullpen, Foxx at C, Finest Harper in the outfield, but I wouldn’t enjoy using that team as much as the original one.

He's talking about your exclusion of black and Latin players. The lack of competitiveness has nothing to do with it. I've seen you post positive things about many black and Latin players in the past so I didn't even notice it, but that is what his beef is.

I really don’t have a problem. But since you want to gaslight let’s break it down:

Your team of “players you like” has nothing in common except they’re all white.

It isn’t a power hitting team, a contact team, a speed team, or an all-defensive team. It isn’t full of lefties, or righties, or switch hitters. They aren’t all American League or National.

Your pitchers aren’t all flamethrowers or all finesse. They aren’t all lefties or righties. They aren’t all sinkerball throwers or anything like that.

The players aren’t all from the same era, so it’s not like you can say you grew up watching those guys and that’s why you “like” them.

Maybe you like their “stories” or their achievements in real life. But if that’s the case, I have to wonder why there hasn’t been a story or an achievement by a Black or Latino player that you “like.”

There is no way you “like” these guys for the way they play in the game. You said it yourself, the team could be better “competitively.”

So again, I don’t have a problem with your team, Mr. Yawkey. Your affinity for a certain type of player and apparent dislike of other types only makes your team weaker.

    Enjoy that lineup.

I know I’m not the only one that finds it hard to believe anyone can get a full roster of 26 guys and not have a single non-white player and call it coincidental or accidental. Baseball is way too diverse, man. Just say you like white ball players, man. It’s cool.

You say you don’t have a problem, yet you act like you definitely have a problem. Like I said before, I acknowledge that it isn’t the most competitive team, and I could definitely improve it with better cards (I even gave some examples). But the fact that a simple team of players/cards I like made you this upset is really telling and honestly quite disturbing in a way. I did notice that you didn’t include Asian players when you mentioned black and latino players though. I find that deeply unsettling, especially with the high volume of violence against Asians taking place in the current social climate. Are they not as important to you? A Japanese man just won MVP, yet you don’t even mention Asian players whatsoever? It seems you need to look in the mirror, Mr. Maurice.

There are great players from all over the world. Back on topic...

I thought I'd make another God squad with entirely different players because there are so many greats to choose from. Keep in mind, many of the "best" BP arms were in my first squad so I'm getting a bit creative.

    SP:

    1. Jacob DeGrom AS21
    2. Vida Blue MS
    3. Freddy Peralta AS21
    4. Jake Arrieta MS
    5. Shohei Ohtani AS21

    BP

    1. Eric Gagne MS
    2. Brusdar Graterol PS
    3. Tyler Matzek PS
    4. Trevor Hoffman MS
    5. Dennis Eckersley Signature
    6. Aaron Loup Finest
    7. Raisel Iglesias Finest
    8. Emanuel Clase Finest

    C- Salvador Perez MS
    1B- Vlad Guerrero Jr. AS21
    2B- Joe Morgan Prime
    SS- Fernando Tatis Jr Finest
    3B- Nolan Arenado Signature
    LF- Hank Aaron MS
    CF- Ketel Marte Finest

Is this on purpose? You’re the only one with an “end game” team that is…well…segregated.

Out of all the great cards in this game, your endgame squad has no Black players or no Latino players? Is this your “pre-Jackie Robinson” theme team or something? Lol

MVP Bryant in left? No Aroldis Chapman in the pen?

This team is sus as can be…

    ???

It’s just my team of personal favorite players, like I said at the beginning of the post. Not sure why you felt the need to bring race into it.

Yeah. You said it alright. Loud and clear.

Ok cool, if the fact that it’s just a team of my personal favorite players is loud and clear, then I don’t see what your problem is.

It isn’t me with the problem, dude.

But let me ask you: What did you name this team?

    The Washington [White] Nationals?

    Lol

Clearly you do have some kind of problem, because all I did was list my team of players I like. I’m not sure why you’re so upset about it. I guess I could make it better competitively if that’s the issue?

Maurice.

As a Canadian, I was going to complain that you didn't include any of 'my people' on your squad, but then I realized you have Eric Gagne, so you're good. 😂

    MS Gagne

Maurice.

As a Canadian, I was going to complain that you didn't include any of 'my people' on your squad, but then I realized you have Eric Gagne, so you're good. 😂

Gagne’s 2003 was legendary, plus I love slow looping curveballs. He’s a must have every year for me.

Yeah one of only 9 relievers to win a Cy Young award. And considering how few Canadians who have become stars in MLB, we actually have 2 Cy Young winners and 3 MVP winners.

    Curious who the others are.

Relievers who won Cy Young Award:

    1. Eric Gagne (Dodgers) 2003
    2. Rolly Fingers (Brewers) 1981
    3. Bruce Sutter (Cubs) 1979
    4. Willie Hernandez (Tigers) 1984
    5. Dennis Eckersley (A's) 1992
    6. Steve Bedrosian (Phillies) 1987
    7. Mark Davis (Padres) 1989
    8. Sparky Lyle (Yankees) 1977
    9. Mike Marshall (Dodgers) 1974
