Any of you guys ever play against the player named "razzorsharpe"? He also streams. He legit has gone 12-0 something crazy like 61 times. I secretly think he might be the best player in the whole game. I wonder if anyone recognizes him or has gone up against him...?
Found his twitch stream about 2 weeks ago. Watch it on my breaks at work and love watching the his approach at the plate. Trying to take tips from it. I've only seen him play BR so I'm not sure how well he does on legend but for BR is he a legend himself.
That's a good point - he is a bit of a BR specialist just from what I've seen of his streams. I'm impressed by how he never gets angry or goes on tilt. He could be up 5-0 or down 5-0 and you wouldn't know it by his demeanor.
How about Ben Verlander? He's [censored] good himself, and he plays RS and on legend all the time. Ever catch his games?

Funny you mention him never going on tilt. Last week I'm watching and just as I turn the stream on, he is in his game to go 10-0, down by 2 with nobody on and 2 outs in the bottom of the 3rd. In that situation I would be a nervous wreck, gripping the controller like I was trying to rip it apart and concentrating on every pitch like my life depended on it. What is he doing....talking to his chat asking them what their favorite Netflix show is. I'm thinking dude has done given up on this run and 3 minutes later he's walking it off and you would have thought he just won his first or second game in the run.
I follow Verlander on twitter but haven't caught any of his twitch streams yet but heard he was really good. A couple months ago when COD Vanguard came out I just picked a random stream to watch on my lunch break and kept thinking man this dude looks exactly like Blake Snell. Finally paid enough attention to see his twitch name was Snellzilla4 and thought well that explains why.

That's classic about razzorsharpe. He's like the Phil Jackson of the show, just zen.
you gotta see BV play, he's a bit of a robot. Your story about Snell reminds me of this one time I was looking through MLB the Show streams and one with only 15 viewers or so was a guy named "Brett Phillips". I thought, ha, that's the name of the old Royals prospect I remember. So I went into his channel and said something about how he reminds me of a Royals player and he said "well that's cause that's me". I didn't think it would actually be the actual guy, ya know? Super chill guy, ended up chatting with him for a good 15 minutes. He was on the Rays at the time.
Then that World Series game that very postseason where he was the hero with the walkoff, where he ran out into LF with his arms out and the whole team chasing him, and I was like wow that's my guy Phillips out there hell yeah!
I think his streaming was a bit of a one-off cause I haven't seen him do it again since.

I've checked out all the big twitch names over the course of all these quarantines of recent years. But the guy with the stream I like the most has not been brought up yet, now that this thread is a discussion of twitch streamers and other show celebrities.
The coolest twitch guy is Paul Sporer, goes by "sporer" on twitch. He's not an elite player, although he's plenty competent. But the guy writes for fangraphs and his baseball knowledge is next level.
One time I was in his stream and I told him I would smoke him in a fantasy baseball league against him. He said OK here's an invite. It was a $350 dollar league and I joined to take my shot. I finished in frickin last place cause everyone in that league was an industry shark. I was almost the only one in that league that didn't have a fantasy baseball podcast at minimum. Good times.

He was one of theShow Content Creators that got his own program in 2019.

Here's another name on twitch that everyone that plays the Show or follows baseball will immediately recognize: Hunter Pence. The thing about HP though, aside from the fact he's a legitimately down to earth, really good dude, is that he doesn't even play the Show. He plays nerd games like Magic the Gathering. And he doesn't just mess around with those games, he has an encyclopedia level knowledge of those games. Some of his admins in his channel don't even realize that before online card strategy games, he also played a few years of baseball.
One time I looked up Pence's minor league stats and saw that really early in his career, he played on the same low-A team as Ben Zobrist. I asked him who was the better player on that team, him or Ben. He said Zobrist no question, but then I looked up their stats, and Pence had way better stats than Zobrist. It wasn't even a comparison. Pretty humble guy!

Same as part 1 but with the original 8 NL teams
Honus! Honus! Honus!!! I'm using all Pirates, all the time. I only need 5 wins to Will, and I don't care if it takes me 100 games.
Are you a fan of Will “The Thrill” Clark, or just want the card?
This year I have become a "completionist". I have plenty of stubs to buy him, but I just feel like "earning" him. And yes, I've liked his cards in the past.
Makes sense. I hope it goes well for you!

To be fair, he might’ve just thought you meant who ended up being the better player from that team, which would be Zobrist. The dude does seem like a genuinely nice guy from everything I’ve seen and read though, so I’m sure his answer would be the same regardless lol.
