Just played some dude in BR who chose Polo Grounds with a bunch of speed/high contact guys like Dee Gordon, Lou Brock and so on and he did nothing but swing for contact. And guess what, I lost so it worked! I hammered a few balls to straight CF which would've been 430+ bombs in any other park, but now they were just routine flyouts.
So if you ever struggle and feel like you absolutely suck at this game, go with speed and contact and play at Polo.
Oh my friend ! Got into one of those game lately at polo with rain .... I literally walk the first 3 and keep the bases loaded every time. The guy not even attempt a swing he still bunting every single pitch !!!! I guess it could be fun to bunt with mike trout ... after all Babe Ruth got a "bunt master" quirks

I cared last year with my 80-29 record, or something similar, but learned this game is trash and not worth the time caring about fake records.

I don’t get the tanking. I mean if you just keep playing into the 600’s you’re bound to lose a few anyway, so why bother losing on purpose? Seems like a big waste of time to me.

I don’t get the tanking. I mean if you just keep playing into the 600’s you’re bound to lose a few anyway, so why bother losing on purpose? Seems like a big waste of time to me.
I don't play online that much but I wanted Trout. I can win in the 600s, but I didn't want to go through playing good players. I just wanted the card so I could go back to offline and play to chill each night before bed. Pretty simple to me. Records are fake. It's a video game. None of it matters.

Look man, you came at me saying I suck. Truth is I just went on a 27-3 run to make WS for Trout, didn't have to tank a thing. I played good players instead of dodging them and in the meantime I ended up batting well over .300 which would've been closer to .400 if not for all the dashboards during my homeruns. So I don't think you want this smoke, stick to your offline play before bed.
