That said, I agree with @PennStateFencer . Controllers should be banned. Everyone should just have a big red Staples "Easy" button for input, and just smash it whenever the pitch is within 10 feet of home plate for an automatic "perfect/perfect".
Now THIS is the type of quality post that has been sorely lacking in the forum this year. You're welcome.

Maybe you remember the thread I made months ago with a list of questions for the devs regarding gameplay mechanics. First I was ignored for months, then I got banned and the thread got locked saying "we'll get back to it when we have more information". I already knew before I even made that thread that I'd still be waiting this time around.
And then there were people defending the actions/handling of these mods. That's what really drove me away to be honest. If these people fail to see the progress I tried to make for everyone in this community by creating that thread, then it's a lost cause and time to move on.

I was at the batting cage couple day's ago and and I definitely had to aim my barrel at the ball plus i had to time my swing to direct the ball where I wanna hit it.

Zone hitting is essentially guess pitch. It's becoming corny AF. Unrealistic. It should be banned from Diamond Dynasty in my opinion. Directional hitting is more realistic but it stops working once you get in the 700 hundreds in level rank or whatever... every hitting style should be equal. Zone hitting is more dominant style and I think that's not right in my opinion. I've used Directional hitting since the first mlb the show and now I have to change my style because it just doesn't work as well as Zone AKA Guess pitch... in a way... I'm 37 years old I shouldn't have to change the way I play.... SMH. Let us use custom batting veiws in DD... Come on man. Equality please.

Actually, sorry that came out meaner than I meant it. If you prefer directional, that's totally fine in an offline setting, but online, zone is absolutely the only answer

I'm 30 years older than this crybaby and I use Zone. Can hold my own pretty well still too.

Something else I noticed about every single loss I've had is that it was another human playing. They should ban H2H and just go straight to just vs CPU games. I win every game versus computer and every loss I've had came at the hands of another human opponent. If SDS, removes the human opponents, then I'll be able to win 100% of my DD games! SDS, make this happen!!!
