Explanation as to why balls squared up with good timing and decent elevation are pop outs and fly outs. It’s the most frustrating part of the game for me. Losing games with great pci placement and timing and losing to late hits. At least if I lineout I crushed it. But when I square a ball up and it goes nowhere it just makes me want to shut the system off and do something else. It happens far too often. Especially on legend difficulty it just ups the frustration even more it’s already so hard to hit

I want to know how perfect-perfect fouls happen.

They can’t explain it because they don’t know. You would figure a studio that has developed a game since 2006 could fix any issue

Probably because its all RNG and they don't care to improve this terrible game?

I’m not saying no bad contact hits cause those happen in the MLB, but every squared up ball should be squared in game too whether it’s a hit or not. I would gladly trade that and never see an outer pci homer ever again…

I'm not saying the hitting engine is great and does not need improvement, but I do always get amused at those who think that there is excessive RNG, That SDS does not care, that it is some easy fix that they are just too lazy to work on.
I just assume that programming the physics of a round ball thrown at various velocities and with various spins and spin rates hitting a round bat with varying swing types and then incorporating the pitcher and the batter attributes is more difficult than any of us can imagine. Then of course they have to do all that while dealing with various difficulty levels and varying PCI sizes, while also trying to make it accessible and fun for all.
I don't envy them the task but I don't subscribe to the conspiracy theories.

I have a solution to that, make RS all the same difficulty level (HOF) up to WS and Legend to get top 50 (900’s-1200). Also people often mistake RNG for connectivity. If you have good connectivity to the server the game plays smoother and RNG seems to be much less of an issue. This is just my experience with the game over the years and I’ve been playing this franchise since 2006.
