Well, to say it straight, if you can’t hit Degrom on AS in RS at this point in the game, that’s on you.

I don't quite get the point of this post. Are you saying people aren't good because they rely on the best possible players to win? So should they start a bunch of bronze and common cards to beat you?
I hate hitting against just about every pitcher online because I am not very good and swing at almost every pitch. But that's on me. I'm not gonna fault my opponents for throwing their best guns at me.

I used to be like this but for the most part in RS most guys use the same 7-8 pitchers so once you see them a couple of times they get easier.

For guys like me, in my 40's, outlier is a killer. Reaction time isn't there anymore. So if I can't hit DG or any of the outlier players, that's why. Not because I don't know what's coming.
Reaction time being relative to age is a real thing, and it sucks.

Or….i know it sounds crazy….but maybe, just maybe people want to put out the best squad they can. Not only is DeGrom the best pitcher in the game, he’s super easy to pitch with and he can hit better than most. Why would you NOT use him?
But yeah, let’s all readjust our rotation so we can prove to halfbutt we’re decent

I dont use Degrom anymore as there are so many other new cards I want to use but I also dont begrudge anyone that uses him as I just quit the game. Records dont matter, if its a bad match up just quit and move on to the next one, I have had no issues getting every WS reward doing this.

After all, on All Star, you can get people out with a variety of pitchers. Hell, I run all sorts of lineups out there. Sure, I lost to P5 DeGrom with a grind squad of postseason players. I had my chances but couldn’t cash in.

Its weird but when I get my guys to P5 I stop using them lol. And start working on some more. Its like something I have to do to complete the game or something. Only P5 I keep using is Vlad Guerrero. Because there isnt anyone that can replace him.

Thanks for clarifying, this makes a bit more sense. I always like to try new players but DeGrom has proven to be on the shortlist of Best pitchers in the game along with Verlander, Kluber, Arrieta, Burnes, Nolan, Lefty and the other agreed upon best starters. Still, it would be nice to see other pitchers from to time. There are plenty of options.

Best I have is AS Ohtani and Sig Smoltz to P4. (6700-7400pts)

You're playing how you want by switching up lineups, they wanted to play with the best squad. Both legit ways of playing. Also I haven't played in a while but as a huge Met fan deGrom will always be in my rotation, cry about it if you want if you are the one to face him but using good cards and players you like is the point of these modes.

A bit on a tangent, but y’all ever seen a P5 reliever? I don’t think I’ve seen a single one.
