I agree. I wa[censored]ting fine till 1.05. Even on 1.04 I was still producing.
I am either slumping or this last patch killed me. Haha

My batting average in the first week was .309.
After 1.04 it fell to about .285. Since 1.05 I am now hitting.258.So, mission accomplished?

So it seems patch 1.05 is giving you RL MLB team averages, good!! so the patch worked!!

There's something wonky about sinkers in general. I have never swung and missed at so many meat pitches before in my life in RS. And I'm only in pennant race. The sinkers seem so much faster than a FB. And I've noticed a lot of people throwing high sinkers as a strikeout pitch so there must be something to it.

Even hitting vs the cpu feels off now. I’m giving it a rest for a bit.

I hadn’t played online in a few days (was trying this showdown business) and just finished an Event game where I hit back-to-back-to-back-to-back hrs off diamond Smoltz to start the bottom of the 1st. I had to end up walking it off with Big Meat Pete in the bottom of the 3rd 7-6. I think we each hit 5-6 HRs a piece. Seemed like hitting was back to early access to me.

Try march to october, feels like a completely different hitting engine.

Well BR was definitely better. I’m writing this off to the quality of the pitching and lineups in RS.
Interestingly, enough, I tried BR in 19 just now and also hit well. I think I’m just going to avoid ranked for a while.
