Anyone know, roughly, where we’re at right now? How many have sold? I was about 470-500 in line.
Trying to decide how bad I really want to try for him in ranked. I’m like 11-12 wins in and it’s been a rough go. Think I’m 12-10 or something like that.You can go to the marketplace and see the completed orders to get an idea of how quickly he is selling.

Quick glance shows that around 53 have sold in the last 24 hours.

I got my 30 wins today, so I cancelled my bid number 1899. So you are atleast one closer. But in all seriousness stay grinding those wins. You will get to 30

I dont understand the hype behind trout. Attributes wise Willie mays is way better.

Attributes aren’t everything. I’d say more people have success with Trout’s swing than Willie Mays.
I was fortunate to get my order in immediately and was ~10th in line so it filled quickly. Now I’m doing the ranked grind with him in my lineup. My goal is to go for WS and to get the 30 wins this season and then just keep the extra 2 Trout’s in my inventory so that’s two less people that I could potentially have to face with him in the lineup.

All true but Willie has a funky stance. With Willie I get jammed all the time since he is so close to the plate. He absolutely murders the ball down and away. Trout always has a glitchy swing, his vision is low but if you are good enough on the sticks his swing makes up for it. I have Trout, Mays and Giffey in the OF. I'm set for the year.

Might be time to play ranked seasons… I hate online H2H toxicity, but I dont think I want to wait until after MLB The Show 22 is released to get Trout.

That's good news. I was between 500-505. I checked the website earlier and it showed only 200 sell orders went through but I don't think it counts duplicates sold at the same time (or all of them). If you're mid 300's and you got it last night, I think I'm on target for no more than 2 weeks to get my order fulfilled.

I was 107 on my alt and got him already. On my main, I am 2988, which means I will get him in January when RS rolls over.

You will get him for sure. You may have to wait until January, but once RS resets everyone left in line will get their orders filled.

Do you think he will ever be a but now option? Don't mind paying the 1M.
I finally put a buy order in. I am 3,008th in line, I know I should have done this the day he was announced. Is there any chance I'll get him?

The way he's selling (at least 350 at this point since the 4th) you might actually stand a chance of getting him in late February or before 2022 is released. I was 1802 so I'm a ways off but at this rate maybe by late January for me.

I had to grind out my wins which I finished last night too after bitching my buy order by putting $100,000 instead of $1,000,000.
100,000 sounds like a good deal for Trout

It'll be interesting to see if he continues to sell at the clip. Of course I'd love to use his card but I honestly just want to collect every card and am not too concerned if it takes a little while.
