I was able to get Foxx but given the prices and the market I may not get Griffey. But, hey, SDS, since you added Robinson and Ohtani as a way to get Kershaw, Rivera and Betts why not go further and add Ortiz and Soriano as steps to get Griffey? Or maybe expand Robinson and Ohtani to all categories?

Ortiz and Soriano (and Chipper) are already steps to get Griffey. They each count as a Signature, Milestone, and Award card respectively.

Also know that we have incoming Events, at least 1 more inning (even if it's a wrap-up) and other opportunities to add cards to the population.

Making cards like Ortiz and Soriano directly count towards Griffey now would be an unbelievably stupid move. Basically everyone has those two at this point, so essentially adding two free vouchers after people have already locked in some expensive cards towards Griffey wouldn’t be good.

And also, why would they use Ortiz and Soriano instead of just Chipper? This whole post makes no sense lmao.

To build on jogger's point, Ortiz and Soriano (and Chipper) signify the collection of Live Series Cards. Griffey is a reward for collecting Legends and Flashbacks.

It’s not stupid at all. It makes Griffey more available.

So basically the OP just wants Griffey handed to them.

SDS has no business reason to ruffle feathers by adding that, would cause more outrage then it's worth.
