Recovering pack addict here. I haven't bought any packs since headliner 2, pretty proud of that. Though man was I tempted today. Just keeping an eagle eye on the collections and my good progress. Saving up for Gerrit Cole atm...
Though I could blow it all on packs and pull anything! Even a Gerrit Cole! lol.

Pack addict here. It's something I live with. Just have to take it day by day. I'll relapse a couple times a year, but I have the most supportive partner. She's my rock. Whenever I feel like I'm about to use again, she's there to pick me up. Got my one week chip the other day.

They gotta give you something to keep you coming back. I haven’t bought any packs after watching my buddy go thru 3 50 pack bundles last year to only pull 1 Trevor story.
Last year I had amazing luck with the packs from conquest,this year I pulled marte and sold him to get my collect 30 done for every team

Used to be me.. . just be smart! Odds are 1:1 if you buy then gambling on getting them lol common sense.

My new goal is to not spend on packs and get up to 200k stubs and just buy the guys I want from there. As long as I don't crack that is lol.

Stay strong! What I've been doing is spending the stubs on players as I can afford then in order to not be tempted.
Which works great until you need an expensive player like Gerrit Cole and that 76k is just taunting you saying you'll pack Trout his time.

Every time lol. It never is at least for me. It's often a lousy (compared to Trout) silver.

You have to be ok with getting nothing when buying packs, so when you hit that expensive Trout or 2 or 3 diamonds in one bundle it is awesome. I do pretty well on the headliner packs. I do not mind the gamble on those packs. Spending 75k on a 50 pack is not a good gamble. the 10 bundle or 20 bundle is a better gamble. the prospect for 30k not worth it you can just buy those cards. 7,500 is easy to recover flipping cards

I bought the AL around launch cause I wanted biggio (one of my childhood favorite players). I haven’t opened many packs since then and I’ve almost completed the NL already. Only big piece I need is arenado. I lucked out and pulled acuna and bellinger out of a free ballin is a habit pack but I highly recommend staying away from packs.

Yes exactly I can always use the free ballin is a habit packs. I have one coming up in a few levels for Kluber.
There are 3 or 4 free ones in collections too.
