Babe Ruth’s speed?

I’m just checking out some guys his speed above. I didn’t know he was as fast as Arron hicks. Lol. I know they fudge these guys numbers to make them fun and useable, I get it. Just don’t understand why not some others like Bench. He was my dads favorite player heard nothing but great things about him but he gets crapped on. I hear his swing isn’t great either. I will get him anyway and probably just buy Ruth when he comes down in price.

Yea off and on. I was using Sam huff and bench until season 3 came out and I switched to 98 Jt realmuto

One thing I have learned after playing this game for as long as I have is that the term “different strokes for different folks” applies here. Everyone performs differently with certain cards, I can’t hit at all with pudge, but I can hit with Bench.

Ruth is a legend. Bench is a catcher that could hit and a hall of famer. No comparison. Just wanting some inflated hitting stats for bench. Lol.. Ruth was alright around the base pads

I have 99 Bench to Parallel 2 (close to 3) so have logged a lot of ABs. Swing doesn’t both me at all but it’s been all offline (looking forward to tomorrow’s Event). But Posey hits better (for me as I have them back to back in my lineup to compare) and that Sal Perez will be ridiculous as his Finest LY was too. So the issue with Bench is just the depth of Catcher as beyond Posey/Perez you still have Adley who to me is still the top option. So if you want to run Bench out there because you like him I think he’ll do fine. But doing so is just going to suboptimize your lineup as there will be better options I think.
