DDA has ruined competitive online play for all sports. The Show was honestly the last title I was willing to put up with. But every year it becomes more evident that SDS likes the game this way and it will not change. I can't help but feel cheated in a lot of games and it's just not worth the frustration. I hope some of you come to this realization as well and stop supporting a game that cheats you. I bid you all a fond farewell!

I meant, there isn't constant upgrading and buying the newest golfer card, there isn't a 90 Arnold Palmer and then a 95 and a 99 released later etc. I didn't say it didn't have competitive gameplay, I said not in the same way others do.

I did find the solution, and this is where you need to not call me a nerd. Chess. That's right, good old fashioned chess. Impossible to fill with DDA, and therefore EA and SDS don't make it. But that's the point.
I'm just learning but I'll smoke you with my Sicillian Defense. But if it goes south, at least I'll know that's cause you beat me, not cause the game had me scheduled for a loss there.

Really? It's pretty easy to see. Different animations and speed depending on the score of the game. Yes, it happens for me as well but it is blatantly obvious.

That isn't moving the goal posts, my original post said "It also really doesn't have competitive online gameplay in the same way that others do". I merely didn't expand upon what I meant and you misunderstood it as me saying there wasn't competitive gameplay.
That is my fault as I can see how you could misread that, I should have explained it in the first comment.

Well, the patent doesn’t specifically say spending, more along the lines of ‘engagement’ but in the gaming world today it might as well say spending. To be fair though even if DDA is in The Show this year, it certainly wouldn’t be to encourage you to spend, pretty much every card is obtainable with NMS.
