Wish I could play even remotely this well. It's my first season and I get lucky to score 2 runs on a ranked season game in the low 300s. Kinda makes online unattractive to just get smoked by much better players. I'd love to play events, BR or RS but don't really see the point if I'm playing playing against people who think the difficulty feels like slow pitch softball.
Keep playing you will start to see that the game slows down and you will improve . It feels hopeless and at times early on especially hitting. Ball just comes in warp speed but if you play pretty regularly your eyes adjust and the number of pitches you see add up you will start recognizing [censored] and strikes better it seems to slowdown especially once you are able to find release points. Try using just the outer Pci in online games its large will help your confidence and offline don't use any pci at all the CPU is all over the place at times but nothing like playing an actual person they will throw you plenty of strikes and no pci will allow your focus to be on the ball constantly, sounds crazy but with good timing you will tike the pci to the ball. Hope so.e of that helps I started playing 3 years ago and I think that stuff along with just playing helped me the most.

Nah you just gotta practice, I started by whiffing on rookie and only using analog and directional hitting. I got frustrated and didn’t play for a while but came back a few months later and started getting a bit better as I played more. But at the beginning of July I started to see real progress. I started pci hitting on rookie and got the building blocks to start playing ranked. Sadly then got banned for 2 months because I was a dumb
. So I didn’t get to play for the rest of July and the first week of August. I then treated myself with the game pass and started a squad on Xbox. Playing on cloud gaming I managed to grind a good team but I didn’t last in ranked. But a few weeks after I got my ps back I started grinding back my team and even decided to buy a monitor. Recently started playing ranked and getting my good fair share of W’s although I see some freeze offs sometimes. Nowadays I mostly play the computer on legend for better practice. And am managing to become a formidable player. So as you can see, it takes months from starting the game to get to the point of being “good”. Practice makes perfect and even now I still got a long way to go. -

This is my first year to play. I started the year playing mostly offline. Would play a ranked game here and there. Finally started playing events and BR and it helped more than anything. Personally, I think they are the best way to get better at the game. One thing about them is that a loss in Events and BR really isn't a big deal. With ranked you don't want want to see that ranking drop, but with the others it just isn't a big deal...especially with events which are free entry. Also, with Events and BR you get a wide variety of competition. You get to play some worse than you, some at your level and when you put together a few wins, you will play someone significantly better.
Losing in RS really isn't a big deal either. People need to realize they're not Weens or PitchingRebel. Just play the game and try and have fun.
