I packed Francisco Lindor and I rake with him. I can't decide if I want to lock the collection in or not. I've knocked out all the other collections for the division (Tigers, Royals, White Sox, and Twins), so the last one would be the Indians.

The only player I would need to buy is Jose Ramirez to finish off the collection. I just can't decide if it's worth locking in 40k for Cody Allen and Walter Johnson. I probably won't be aiming to complete the collections, since I really would only want Sheffield out of the collection rewards. Mantle would be nice but seems like a whole bunch of stubs to lock in for non-sellable players.

Just for Allen and Walter Johnson, no. I dont think allen is that good and Johnson is serviceable but not top tier. If you plan on doing the rest of the collections later I ‘d say go for it though. Ramirez is a nice utility player to have on the bench

Like he said, if you’re just doing it for the players, then no.
Johnson really only performs well above all star. Under that, the fastball is too hittable and his offspeed isn’t good enough to fool people.
Allen doesn’t have a good enough pitch mix to make it. Very easy to hit at all levels.

However, I still think it’s overall worth it, especially now that you have the most expensive player. It’s good to get an entire division collected. You’ll get a good amount of XP and you’ll gain about 11k stubs back during it.

Oh true, didn't realize about the stubs from central part of the collection.

Yeah, I saw Johnson's per 9/s and was kinda like "blah." But I guess, since other then the Indians, it isn't too hard to collect. I might look into selling Lindor to complete a different division with a better overall reward. For example, NL central or AL East

I did it and I'm not even using Johnson on my team. Pitches are garbage with the way breaking balls hang and windup is so slow. Allen isn't bad, but not special either. I'm trying to do the whole AL first and the central was the cheapest since I packed Lindor too. All I need is Cole to finish the Yanks and AL East. Then it's the big fish and Astros.
