Belli Yelli Willi

LF to RF: Babe, Mays, Bellinger. I keep Ichiro on the bench and sub him in for Ruth late in games and for pinch running/hitting.

LF: ?????????????
CF: SS Griffey
RF: Finest Bellinger
I don't have a slam dunk player for left, though I tend to lean towards Acuna, Kaline, and Ichiro for various reasons. I don't have Mays and I really can't be bothers to play the market to buy the 5 or so most expensive LS cards -

I finally finished the live series collection and so have Mays with Griffey and Bellinger but another name I would throw out to you that people sometimes forget is Finest Ketel Marte. I had him at LF because his fielding will be around 74 there but he has great hitting stats and switch hitter on top of that. He was my 3rd guy out there before getting Mays.

babe Lf mays CF belli RF
griffey and trout on the bench
babe is more than serviceable even robbed a HR against me lol -
I’m rocking Mays, Trout and Belli right now
-
I recently but him in LF and he is game changing....Rickey Henderson. Dude does it all
-
Williams, Cobb, Griffey start - Mays and Trout on the bench for speed, defense, platoon advantage if necessary.
-
Side bar my most recent OF is LF Hend, CF Cobb and RF Griffey.
Cobb was always in LF prior. He is a waaaaaay better CF. Possibly second only to Mays

I am seeing a lot of people choosing Belli over Griffey. I have both. I will say I haven't used Belli enough to know how I hit with him. I believe I am over .330 with him but with not a huge sample size. Griffey I am .340 and he is the player I have used most. I have heard a lot of people complain about Griffeys glitchy defense but have not experienced it myself. Is Belli more sound defensively?

Just benched Griffey. I get his animation constantly and I’m sick of it. I know some hardly see it but I do no matter where I put him. I put Belinger in RF

I get his bad animations every 2-3 games I feel always at bad times. I now run belli May's and ruth. trout comes in for ruth late game and Griffey is my 1st lefty off the bench cause man he can still hit

I honestly have never had the bad animations with Griffey and he is probably my third or fourth best bat. Bellinger is my best hitter followed by Donaldson surprisingly which is why he will never leave 3rd. But I have Griffey with Belli and Mays. Between them three the outfield defense is set. I will say though between Griffey and Belli I have to give Belli the edge in hitting because he has a great swing and can make contact even if not the best PCI placement.
