If they do then Soto loses a lot of ground. If those games count then the following is true

    • O'Neill and Seager were only .1 WAR behind him
    • Seager hit for better Avg
    • 8 players had a higher SLG including O'Neill and Seager
    • Seager had a higher wOBA
    • Seager had a higher wRC
    • O'Neill hit more HRs, had more runs scored, more RBIs and more SB.

I agree. Soto's poor play this past weekend also cost us a game 163. Rooting for an O'Neill lightning myself

Update: the lightning card will be between Kyle Tucker and Tyler O'Neill

ONeill, I was hoping the garbage Nats could actually hold a 5-1 lead against BOS. Not sure what I was thinking

Any reason you still believe Tucker. He will probably be in the program but he faded while others surged.

Corey Seager leap frogged him in most categories.
Goldschmidt too, although most expect him to get a Sig Series or a Finest.

Tucker and O'neill won the actual POTM awards. Based off of that its one of those 2 or Max Fried(the NL pitcher of the month). Tucker had a better average and OPS than O'Neill but Tyler had a better slugging and more homers. Its a toss up IMO

Ah, I missed that the announcement of the actual winners was made.

O'Neill deserves it the most IMO. I'm a Brewers fan but it's nice to see O'Neill finally put it all together.

Disclosure - He is on my keeper fantasy baseball team and helped me win a championship this year.

I did notice that the MLB article on the POTM announcement had the stat line for O'Neill that included his three games in Oct.

Last month, the 2 POTMs were Jose Abreu and CJ Cron. Neither was Robbie Ray.

Correct, but this months pitcher's of the month were Frankie Montas(who already has a player of the month card), and Max Fried who already has a topps now card. Fried is a possibility, but they haven't repeated a player of the month card so Montas is out. Same reason disqualified Abreu last month. Cron may have gotten screwed, but he could still be the rockies finest card.

The POTM won't be Segar not because he doesn't deserve it but because his 99 2020 Postseason card will be an event reward

I’m praying for that card. I’d remove almost anyone from my lineup to make room for him. One of the best swings in the game.

That card was a menace last year I both fear and love that card

He was one of my fav hitters all year(I even raked with his LS this year). Last year one game I had him in the 8 hole. He homered 4 times and flew out to the wall in his fifth AB.
