It’s stupid that an 89 mph cutter is basically an Euphus, but an 89 mph sinker is faster than a max velocity fastball

It's not the tv. Been using the same system for years. It's the 1.4 patch that screwed things up

You know what else? If a player needs to have a gaming monitor to hit a fastball, the game really should come with a disclaimer.

All the power to you guys who want to get sweaty staring at a monitor up close, but many of us actually want to enjoy just playing the game.

If that makes me “casual” in your eyes, so be it, but ragging on a dude because he wants to play a video game on a tv while sitting on his couch is pretty lame.

In all seriousness, I’m switching to pure analog hitting haha. I made World Series with it last year when a new season started I did it just to try it out and It happened to work out okay. Maybe I just am too stoned most of the time to catch up and do two things at once?

Amen brotha! Well said. I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone having an issue with the FB is playing on a tv (including myself) and those who aren’t experiencing an issue are on monitors. All I know is I play the game for fun and it makes it hard to do when you experience issues like these. I will admit hitting is a little bit better now but far from where it should be.

It would be nice if SDS could explain the impact input lag has on your gameplay experience. I agree with the person that said the game should come with a disclaimer. If the game was designed to be played on a monitor with 10ms input lag, that’s great. Just let us know and we can make an informed decision to either purchase the game or not.

Ranked seasons, all star difficulty. I’ve been selling out on fastballs like it’s legend speed and am getting “late” feedback. I’m swinging at a cutter literally right down the middle of the plate and am completely swinging through it getting “too early” feed back with my pci directly over the ball. It’s driving me crazy I can’t seem to figure out how to adjust to anything this year. Timing never seemed so bad before.

Get off your 2012 70 inch TV bruh

I use a gaming monitor with a fast refresh rate and have the same opinion on the fastballs. What’s your smart [censored] comment now?

I admit I’ve only played one ranked game post 1.05, but my feeling wasn’t so much that the pitch was too fast, but that my swings seemed to pass right through the ball. The feedback would sometimes say late, even though I thought I was right on it.

This very well could be related to lag/monitor vs tv, but my setup hasn’t changed since ‘16, so I’m inclined to think it is the timing window. Time to make the adjustment. Again!

I'm on a monitor...input lag is there for some. I'm included. It's random and is def going to cost me games here and there. It sucks and I hope it gets fixed.

Accurate statement, the timing windows has been screwed up since the show 19. When the high and inside sinker is the meta, there is a problem with the gameplay.
