How is signature Thome a Philly?

I could see a milestone or appropriate year awards card, but a signature (or prime Thome) has to be with Cleveland.

Why did they even drop this card? I don't complain about content but this might be the most pointless card in the entire game. Worse against righties, +10 contact vs L, and + 10 fielding. Thats it

2 40 hr seasons, a 4th place mvp ,accepted a trade so Howard could play, beloved in philly.... so not unjustified, but yeah i agree

There are different high diamond card series that could/should have been used if the intent was to make Thome a Phillies card this year. Signature series is not one of them. Thome is a Cleveland legend, everyone associates him with Cleveland. If he's getting a Sig card it has to be in a Cleveland uniform. I know it's stupid to complain about, and doesnt have any impact on the gameplay whatsoever, and you can still use him on Cleveland all time team blah blah blah - it just seems inconsistent with how they’ve historically used the signature card series to have Thome as a Philly

It's essentially the same as the TA2 released months ago.
Unpopular opinion, but this will be a cleaner card with the added vision and ability to play against lefties. His TA2 card is good, but this one should play more like last year.

They are trying to mix it up with teams this year. I really like it. Thome is justifiable as a star on several teams. I agree they should have put it as a milestone instead of signature but in the long run, who cares about what series a card is in?
