And the Cardinals aren't playing for anything

Well, other than the second wild card spot. They had a 2.8% chance of making the playoffs on Sept 7th. They are now a 99.9% certainty to make it as the second wildcard team.

And everyone knows Harper would not get a card because he already has a 99 card. He would be beaten out by Soto anyway. Soto is having an insane month. If Harper was going to get a card then it would have been last month.

Gentlemen, let's be real, it's Harrison Bader.

Cant tell if youre serious or not

He is, but we know Bader is out of the running for a card because he just had one a few months back. Bader has leap frogged both O'Neill and Goldschmidt in WAR for the month of September. He is only behind Soto, Harper and Semien in that category. He is 6th in AVG for the month.

    cough Soto cough

All that remains to be seen is if SDS will give him a POTM card. Many believe he is in line for a finest card. He is pretty much a lock for the Actual NL Player Of The Month from MLB.

There is precedence for SDS passing over a player. Las Month CJ Cron deserved a card and was passed over entirely.

Second wildcard is basically all locked up. The only way the cardinals miss the playoffs is losing their last 6 games and either the reds or phillies winning their last 6. And that would just force game 163. At this point they are basically playing to keep the streak alive

Inject a Giancarlo Stanton into my veins. But if you don't believe in the Bader hype, just go look at his last 30, 15, and 7 game splits. Unreal.

Doesn't matter of Bader was hitting .500 with 16 homeruns this month. He isn't getting 2 player of the month cards

They could give Soto a 98 lightning player card save 99 for either MVP or finest card. But I'm guessing we will get a 99 Soto at sometime

    cough Soto cough

He has been the best hitter.

    https://www.mlb.com/stats/?split=9

I still think Gurriel is the front runner though. Soto, Harper and those guys already have big cards or big cards coming.

But in the MLB Soto will probably get it for NL.

Only reason I cannot see Tucker is because there are guys hitting just as well as him but with better power numbers. Even Teoscar Hernandez.

    .337 6hr 15rbi Tucker

    .337 9hr 26rbi Hernandez

    .364 7hr 30rbi Gurriel

But will SDS give the Blue Jays a 3rd Lighting card?

BTW Juan Soto is probably the best overall hitter in baseball. The guy has 34 walks this Month to just 8 Ks, insane. .471 OBP for the year and no one else is close. Not even Harper.
