I did it using zone but he is not a good hitter and it took several tries

I'm not good at this game...I used zone... I didn't like his swing, but they were not bad at all.
Everybody doesn't have the same experience with swings and cards.

I actually switched to directional briefly to see how it worked because I have a natural tendency to try and force the ball either in the air or to the opposite field. I hated it, felt like I had vertigo haha.
I changed back and finally finished:
First 3 moments: 1 hour
Last 3 moments: 1 try on eachNo clue, definitely makes the collection but not the lineup.....Any lineup.

Took me about 15 minutes. Only use zone. They weren't any harder than any other sets of moments.

Like "my Nizzle" said, this wasn't any more difficult or easier than other programs for me.

They are easy. Stop whining and change your approach to hitting. If they make them any easier might as well just hit X and collect your reward.

To hell with that. Everyone should just turn on their PS5 and collect their World Series, BR Flawless, Events and Missions/Programs rewards.
Why should anyone have to learn how to play the game correctly?

I completed all of these moments and every other player program moment, without using directional for a single one of them. And I suck so bad at this game that I've never even made it higher than 500 on ranked. Congratulations on being worse at moments than a below average casual with laughable plate discipline.

I also usually swing at everything in Moments because I just want to get them over as quickly as possible, lol.

i used zone, I had trouble with only two of them, I found something that worked for me and got them done. They were not to bad.

Took me around an hour or less and half of that was on the 6 total bases vs Ray moment. The rest of the moments were super easy

They took about 25 min total. They weren't that bad. And maybe half your problem is that you're using directional. It's pretty worthless.
