Arrieta is so underrated every year. I always look forward to his cards. His stuff is always nasty and his speed differentials are perfect imo

Strop was never a star (and I didn’t claim he was), but he was an excellent setup man for several years in Chicago. He was picked up in the same deal, making the trade even more one-sided. By the way, Jake hasn’t done well since leaving either.

Im pretty stingy with my stubs as well, but I’d drop a million on the old PS Carlos Beltran of the latter days. I know they don’t have his rights now, but I think that’s the best card I’ve ever played with.
Christ, PS Beltran is still to this day imo the greatest card to ever grace the game. Better than Mantle, better than Trout, better than PeePee himself.

I scored 3 in the top of the 1st and actually thought I had a chance haha. He came back bottom half with 8 of his own. Ended up 9-3. I’m not the best but fairly decent. He’s just an absolute goon. Hit anything and everything. He dots every pitch perfectly on the corner.
