I've enjoyed the game this year. Usually I'm done by June, but here it is in September and I'm still playing it regularly. The thing about SDS is that they do take our input into consideration which is evidenced by Pinpoint Pitching. Pinpoint is great, but given it's a novel setting, it'll just need some tweaking.

I regrettably bought Madden this year for the first time in several years and it's a buggy mess as usual. I stopped playing after 24 hours. As far as sports games go The Show leads the way imo. And the only money I've spent was for the MVP (?) edition and a few nights when I got drunk and wanted to rip a 50 pack. But all in all, I've spent less than $300 including purchase of the game.

Lmao drunk card buying is never a good idea. Def feels worth it at the time until you wake up and your like, “where did all my stubs go”

I'm honestly not sure how they could make it any easier to get quality cards without spending money.

I've got most every high priced card on the market. At least, the ones that I'd want. Which means about 3 million in stubs. None locked. I havent spent a penny. But, the OPs post isn't about content. The content is fine. Its the RNG in the game play. Which I agree with. Its so apparent that you know when its occurring. Which, at this point, is the majority of the time. And, yes, I have less qualms with it when I'm the one being favored. Yet, it shouldn't be about RNG. Skill should be the deciding factor.

Yeah OP's point about gameplay is valid but he lost me when commenting about SDS focusing on gameplay rather than ways of getting us to spend more money.

This is WAY off-base compared to the greediness of other sports gaming companies.

The OP didn't mention RNG though. They said that their issue was with forcing people to spend additional money. That's what I was responding to.

High heat baseball in early 2000's was it for me. I didn't care about the gameplay, but the simulation and franchise mode was king to me.
