I thought Ramon Martinez had Cy Young award winner stuff. He never could put it all together to become great.

About the legends with "baggage"... do you guys know about a pathetic human being that gets multiple high level cards from 2K every year?
Karl Malone (pedophile).
And baseball keeps out steroid guys or even worse, a guy like Shoeless Joe.
No one needs to point out why. I get that these guys have been banned by MLB and for some reason a POS like Karl isnt banned by the NBA. Just pointing this out.

Rhodes/Wetteland/Vasquez/AssenmacherWillis, Delgado and Rhodes would be my choices out of that group. I think Rhodes won something like 10 games our of the pen for the Orioles in two separate seasons. I am a fan of more quality relief options. What about the Delgado equivalent that played for the Red Sox (Mo Vaughn). What about Nomar Garciaparra? I believe John Wetteland was arrested for sexual child abuse so don't expect him.

They both played with the Dodgers together before pedro broke out. Dodgers made a mistake letting him go.

I know licensing and everything makes it hard to get every player but I do think more needs to be done. Baseball has such a long history with many great players and as it pertains to older legends, how cool would it actually be to have an almost endless list of greats to play with. Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Sandy Koufax, Tris Speaker, Bill Bergen... okay maybe not the last one.
It’s why I loved OOTP, while it’s just a simulator, being able to control those old teams and see how the players performed is fun.

Correct, traded him for Delino DeShields. Great speed but that's about it. One of the Dodgers worst trades

I used to play Baseball Mogul, and then I tried OOTP. It was very overwhelming at first with all the options but I was a great game. I have not played either in a few years.

As far as I know Magglio's only "baggage" was the list of dudes that Canseco personally injected with the juice, so thats not going to keep him out of the game(pudge). If there is something else though I would like to know because Magglio is my favorite player of all time
Nahh, wasn’t that. It was something about his political views and being connected to the government down there in Venezuela. I didn’t know anything, someone just mentioned it. So idk.

Dontrelle WillisWhat a good list overall. An early season ROY D-train would be a lot of fun. That guy could handle the bat as well (hit .241 his rookie year). Would love to see delgado. I gotta add Ben Sheets…the Brewers I grew up following were so bad for so long…he was our lone bright spot.
