Can I just say this guy is still the hardest pitcher to hit. You can't pick up his pitches at all! Pair that with a 100 mph fastball/sinker and a slow glitch slider and I stand no chance. I would rather face degrom.

It's because the sinkers in this game defy physics. They go up and down like they are in a wind tunnel it makes no sense it is stupid.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Its his delivery thats the problem. Outlier sinkers are worse than regular sinkers. You don't see people talking about how good Britton, Greg Soto, and Reyes are because they aren't that good.

I'm agreeing. That's why I said in the original post that you can't pick up his pitches. Something goofy about his delivery.

If you see guys like Blake treinen and how much movement they have on their sinking fastballs it’s not that far off in the game. But it’s become a crutch for the timing window to hit it. I feel like you have to swing earlier on a 94 sinker rather than a 98 fastball. If they fix the timing window that pitch won’t be able to be used as a crutch for everyone.

Agreed, I think timing windows have been just weird since about the middle of 20. I went back and played 19 recently and other than lineouts hitting was fun and made sense. I knew when I was late and when I was early and it was on me. Seemed like about halfway through 20 they started messing with timing windows and cant get it right since then.
