Obviously we know the universal greats like Chipper, Mookie, Jackie, Acuna, Degrom,Vlad Sr. and many other killer cards. Who do you enjoy using that not very many people talk about.

    Hitters-
Lou Brock 97 Milestone- This card is what inspired this post. Somebody created a post talking about how good this card is and I was surprised that so many people agreed. His ability to fly around the bases, hit triples, yank the ball over the right field wall etc are amazing. He's so consistent for me.

Andrew McCutchen 98 Signature- I almost didn't use this but for fun, put together a team of new cards around the time we got him on daily moments. In my first 20 ABs, I hit 7 HRs and hit .600, he hasn't slowed down much since. Plus he has good (not great) speed.

Albert Pujols 97 2nd Half- he's wearing the wrong number, his swing isn't accurate and it's not the 99 he deserves (though I'm sure he'll get his) but the dude destroys righties and lefties equally. He also has a great glove which people overlook in a first baseman. Can't wait to see how his 99 plays.

Kris Bryant 97 Award-quick bat, hits bombs to the opposite field when I'm late on pitches. For some reason when I have 2 outs and nobody on, he is always up and always comes through with an xbh.

    Old school 42s
Max Muncy, Yordan Alvarez, Trent Grisham, Larry Doby. I realize nobody uses 42s (except Jackie 99) anymore but every once in a while I throw these guys out there for team missions and they are home run machines.

Those are just as few that come to mind. I'll add some pitchers in a bit. Who are yours?

I don't think it's a big secret at this point but just like IRL, all of Cedric Mullins cards crush the ball. Too bad he's got a Rondell White/Johnny Damon/Charlie Blackmon type arm. Definition of a FOUR tool player lol.

For the longest time I ran Jordan Groshans, I hit better with him then Mauricio. I think ASG Albies is a bit underrated but to go really off the wall let’s go early, Topps Now Yermin Mercedes, for a gold he was good!

You know I agree with this. Lou Brock and Kris Bryant are two of my go to guys, I'd put them up there with the big names,

SILVER slugger DJ LeMahieu is a big hitter on my team. Sneaky power like Lou. All star Xander is a budget beast at SS. TA Nicolas Costellanos at first base is really good, I don't like him in the Outfield but first base hides he speed weakness,

I put together theme teams for the dailies, which is how I discovered that Awards Mazeroski is a problem. Seems like he hits way above his stats. Super fun card.

MA Ryan Pressly is my go to closer. His pitch accuracy can't be beat.

For pitchers I still like running Milestone Familia out of the bullpen.

Awards Jorge Posada is almost always overlooked. Best hitting catcher in the game for me.

Just finished a 12-0 run yesterday and that 95 Roberto Perez ended up hitting over .700 with a lot of homers. Really liked his swing and diamond defense

I'm helping my buddy who just bought the game a few weeks ago try to get caught up which might take the rest of the year but I'm grinding through all 3 seasons of TA prior to the release of season 4 and 42 Grisham and Muncy are crushing everything.

That's cool. I like to do something similar. And you're so right about Maz, he rakes and his power numbers in reality were nonexistent.

Are you talking about the daily missions? That's a cool idea. I do that for TA and some of the programs like FOD and Acuna.

Easily AS Zunino and AS Jared Walsh.

Im even good with them against their weak splits.

But I dont know why more people dont at the very least have them as bench platoon options.

Zunino crushes lefties and Walsh murders righties. I've P5ed both of them.

98 AS Castellanos still leads my team in HR, RBIs, and like 2nd or 3rd on team with BA.
99 PoTM Votto while being on the team the second least amount of time is already 2nd in HRs and 3rd in RBIS, 1st in BA.
