If anyone thinks Madden is a better product than MLBTS, they need to be submitted to a psychiatric ward because they cray.
I considered checking myself into a psychiatric ward when I tried Madden last year.

It's so hilarious how people try to manufacture a rivalry between the makers of madden and the show, when in reality they likely don't even look at each other as competitors. I can say with a high degree of confidence that for the most part, neither company really cares all that much about how many games the other one sells.

Madden stinks.
MUT is a terrible grind.
And franchise mode added coach skill trees, a a new weekly gameplan system and a new scouting system that isn't even in the game at launch. Everything else in Franchise is exactly the same just behind some new menus.

Madden is bad again. I’m pretty sure 2K will also be bad again. Not wasting my money or time on either this year.

Well, Madden launched with game breaking bugs in every game mode so it's definitely beating this game in that respect.

Lol, and this is it's best launch in years. But yeah, mostly the same stuff. And they are heavily punishing people who don't have PS5 or X. If you have an older console you are just buying last years Madden.

Yah, it sucks. I was thinking of picking it up when it eventually goes on sale but with the home field/momentum stuff being next gen only I don't see much of a point. Glad they finally updated franchise a bit but not enough to justify buying it this year I think. -
Madden is a HUGE slap in the face again to their fans. For Goodell to say EA puts out a good football game is laughable. For anyone who was around for the early part of this decade, Madden Franchise was the best gaming mode for sports games. After 08 they started removing features and adding them back later as new.
They lift this years Franchise home page from NHL and call it "new" they put in coaching trees and homefield advantage from the NCAA games and call it "new." There is nothing new about this game except for the new bugs.
I used to love Madden. I have every game since Madden 2002. As a Buccaneer fan, I wanted to buy this one, as we finally have a player on the cover. But I won't touch it.

Who cares! MADDEN / EA IS HORRIBLE GAME! I OWNED every madden till 18. Used to my favorite game. But EA KILLED that. They are a horrible company that has sucked the life out of a football simulation lol. It's broken, they release a game that isn't even close to a finished product. It's pathetic.

The Show is no good for someone who only plays RTTS....If I want 5 different players to start as minor leaguers with different stats (as I did for 6 yrs straight) I should be able too....I am actually playing 2020 most of the time as I can play the way I want....But EA ruined NHL with the last version by hosing Be A Player. Interested to see how Madden does this year.....The only game that still plays the way I like is Fifa, and I am not a huge soccer fan. But Madden is the biggest game there is so of course it will outdo The Show.

Madden 22 is the worst madden out there yet. Look at all the scores. Even the [censored] kissers who use to give it a 10/10 every year without playing are even saying it's [censored]. Metacritic avg rating is under 1! That's under 1/10!
The SHOW is so much better than that madden garbage

Wasn't that the point where they got the exclusivity from the NFL? The 2k games were so much better but didn't have the features that madden had at the time but the game play after a few tweaks was so much better. They eliminated any competition and developed into a steaming pile of trash.
